Restore and Protect the Bay

DIG IN and make a difference on Bay Day! Join our restoration team at one of two locations—Palo Alto Baylands or Martin Luther King Shoreline. You can celebrate and learn about our important work, help with a restoration project, take a tour of our native plant nursery, or go on a wetland walk with our knowledgeable staff. Bring the entire family and give back to the Bay on Bay Day.

Palo Alto Baylands

Saturday, October 6
Walk-In Event - 10 am to 3 pm

Brought to you by facebook

Get your hands dirty removing invasive plant species or take a turn at mulching and watering this season’s crop of native plants, helping them establish their root systems before the winter rains. When you’re done or need a break, celebrate your Bay Hero status and grab a snack at food trucks, play Bay Day games, and enjoy live music.

Martin Luther King Shoreline

Saturday, October 6
Registration only event - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Plastic Straws, food wrappers and single-use plastic bottles are just some of the garbage that piles up along the MLK Shoreline. Gather your friends and family, and help clean-up our Bay. You can also learn about our nursery and the flora and fauna found in our wetlands.

Space for this event is limited and registration is required.

Special thanks to our Bay Day sponsors.
